Samuel Thomas George Evans, R.W.S.
(1829 - 1904)
Son of William Evans of Eton. He devoted himself like his father to water-color painting, and resided for many years at Eton College. He is an Associate of the Society of Painters in Water-Colors, contributing, among others, the following works: "Study in the Simplon Pass," "Caerngorm Hills," "Windsor from Poet's Walk," "Via Mala," "Rock of Gibraltar," "Catalan Bay, South Barbara."
