Walter Edward Corbould

Great-Grandson of Richard Corbould (1757-1831)
Son of Alfred Hitchens Corbould (1821-1874)
Walter Edward Corbould is sometimes confused with his cousin Walton Corbould (1859-1919). (Layard 1892, p.332).

The dynasty continued into a fourth generation, with Walter Edward Corbould (b.1860) and Alfred Chantry Corbould (1852-1920), making a line of artists from the mid-18th through to the 20th Centuries.

WALTER EDWARD CORBOULD, Deceased. Pursuant to the Trustee Act, 1925. NOTICE is hereby given that all persons having claims against the estate of Walter Edward Corbould late of 65 Waldemar Avenue Fulham in the county of London (who died on the 15th day of January 1940, and whose Will was proved in the Principal Probate Registry on the 26th day of February 1940 ,by James Fletcher Martin the executor therein named) are hereby required to send particulars in writing of their claims to us the undersigned on or before the 6th day of May 1940, after which date the said executor will proceed to distribute the assets of the said deceased amongst the persons entitled thereto having regard only to the claims of which notice shall then have been received. -- Dated this ist day of March 1940.
